A day in the life of the
D365FO functional consultant.
STARTING YOUR DAY
You start the day checking your emails. Then at the daily team meeting, you plan and prioritise your projects and tasks. It’s time to check if you have assigned supports to help a client.
MORNING
You do online training with one of the client’s key-users. Then you meet with your project manager to review the milestones, task and projected dates for the go-live. When you drink coffee, you answer in ERD the question that another member of the community has posted on the forum.
AFTERNOON
You are heading to the other side of the city to meet a potential client on site and do a demo of the standard functionality of the tool. On your return, you review with a partner the proposal for the implementation of a new module in another client.
END OF THE DAY
At the end of the workday, you record the hours you spent on each project/ task to track your time.
