Implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain Management and Commerce
THE CHALLENGE
Hawkers is a commercial brand of Spanish origin that was born marketing sunglasses internationally using the online medium as its main distribution channel. In addition to becoming a reference example in the use and exploitation of Facebook campaigns in Palo Alto (California), it currently has different associated business lines and new sales channels such as Retail, Wholesalers and Marketplaces (Amazon, El Corte Inglés…).
The increase in Hawkers’ business, its greater internationalisation and the need to make all its processes even more sophisticated, led the company to begin an analysis of the integration and impact of logistics operations at a global level and to size the scope of the project.
THE JOURNEY
This project required the implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and Supply Chain Management in addition to the implementation of Commerce with the brand’s various e-commerce platforms.
Due to the complexity of commerce in the field of integration of the different marketplaces, we took advantage of the functionality of the integration APIs that have the scale units in the cloud of commerce of the CSU created and facilitated by Microsoft. In this way, all the information processing coming from the different sales channels is managed by independent units with high processing capacities without penalizing the ERP.
THE ARRIVAL
After the implementation of D365 Commerce, D365 SCM and D365 Finance, we have managed to combine the power of all the tools to create a unified working environment, bringing together all online orders in a single tool. Created for the end user, it provides work tracking, daily management, and secure and more agile invoicing processes.
